Synthwave hardware jam
Hi Guys
Here's a video I created last year, shortly after picking up my new Korg Arp Odyssey.
It's a wonderful machine, full of character and mojo.
In this track I paired it with a lot of samples from Sonic Academy and a little Roland JU-06 on arpeggio duty.
This was really just to see how the Odyssey worked as a bassline machine, and I was happy with the result!
More of this. Haven’t logged much time with the odyssey (sounds rad) ... but we have a ju-06 in maserati and it’s so so sick. Zero impetus to invest in a real 106 since getting it.
Cheers man. The Odyssey is the real deal, proper mojo. I agree about the JU-06 too, so close to the real thing there's no need to fire up the analogue. Quite tempted with a System 8 now!
