Committing Music Suicide and Making It
Many Musicians, Artists spend their life trying to get a record deal, what happens when a young artist gets that chance stays with the Record label for a while, finds they want to change his sound, his lyrics, his way, his identity some will bow down and change but what happens when one stands up and says
No I'm me this is who I'm, this is my way is this committing music industry suicide to stand up against those that say they have made you who you are today and given you so much.If you are talented you have also given the record company so much, without artists they wouldn't have a job either, but when that artist goes out on their own and makes their own record label is that a risky thing to do or a 50/50 chance of sinking or swimming.
Big artists maybe able to do this to throw there weight around but what happens when it's a non main stream artists that has oddles of talent well there is one artist I'm referring too.
You may or may not of heard of him, I heard one of his songs on a non mainstream radio show either late last year or early this year, looked him up on YouTube and found a lot of his music, since then he has put loads more out, but in the last two weeks the YouTube views went from a few hundred thousand to between 1-9 million views on each of his videos.
Many people categorize his music this is not wise to do as his message in his lyrics hit home, not all his songs may get to you but there may be one that will stop your to think.
The lyrics tell his story which is life that is relevant to everyone, your story may not be exact but it's relevant to life.
He left his record label, started his own record label, gets constantly put under the magnifying glass and compared to one artist in particular, which they recently collaborated a song together.

I kinda like the music you shared. I listen to electronic music mainly, but also pop-ish, and classical music. I like the oldies like Louis Armstrong as well, as I like good disco. A reflection of what I really like, and what I listen to you can find in my blog.
