Half Hour Songwrite Challenge - Episode 4 - STEW - 12/5/18 - A Dtube Exclusive!
It's the 4th episode of HALF HOUR SONGWRITE CHALLENGE! 💛
This was an interesting prompt... as you can see in the video, I had as much fun freaking out about trying to write a song with "STEW" as I did actually writing it 😁
Not only am I writing these song fragments in 1/2 an hour, but I pretty much include learning and practicing them in that window as well. Which means that sometimes, when the chord progressions and/or vocals are fast and furious, and therefore a little more difficult to play, I end up needing a couple takes to get something listenable... 😜
HALF HOUR SONGWRITE CHALLENGE is an ongoing daily Dtube vlog. Each day I challenge myself to write a song in 30 minutes, using a one word prompt provided by a random word generator (https://wordcounter.net/random-word-generator). I'll also be considering viewer suggestions for prompts, so if you have something you'd like to hear me write a song about (or part of a song 😉), drop a comment below!
