RE: 10 Of Tchaikovsky's Compositions in Honor of His Birthday
The first three minutes of Piano Concerto No. 1 is some of the greatest music ever written, in my opinion. I love that melody.
I've actually learned the Sleeping Beauty Waltz on piano. It's a fun song to play, but I have a slight problem with the octaves at one point. I need just a little more reach on my pinkie.
Thanks for this!
No problem, Piano Concerto no.1 is GREAT, it's hard to believe that some critics criticized it when it first came out. The Sleeping Beauty waltz is a great piece to learn. I had trouble with octaves for a while too, eventually your hand will grow accustomed to positions (such as the octave). Good Luck!
