This time we not going far back,just 10 years to 2007. and unplugged concert of Korn.
In that period band was in a very strange place,in 2005. guitarist Brian Welch left the band,and year later drummer David Silveira did the same.
They released one really weird album,first without Brian and last with David.And it didn't fit well to me,as for a lot of people.
Fans called them sellouts,but to me that was little harsh.
I consider that album failed experiment,but i admire Korn because they have that bravery to explore their sound and music and trying something new.
Fuck it,someone will love it and someone don't.

Then i hear that they are play MTV unplugged show,and i was skeptic for many reasons.
First,they are heavy loud band will their music sound good in acoustic form ?
How they gonna do it without two original members ?

But i can honestly say that i was more than pleasantly surprised with the final result.
Korn made this show so memorable,they use a lot of instruments and obviously they put a lot of work in to it.

Concert is open with their biggest and most famous song,Blind.
Which is perfect way to start s show,and it has beautiful solo in the end,almost like flamenco.

It continues with Freak on a leash,with guest vocals from Amy Lee from Evanescence.
And in this performance it's a whole new song.

After Falling away from me,they play cover of Radiohead's Creep which is Jonathan's favorite song from high school.

Got The Life,Twisted Transistor and Coming Undone are next,and last two sound much better than studio versions.

Then comes my personal favorite of concert,duet with Robert Smith and the Cure on Make Me Bad/In Between Days.

Concert closer is song also from last album,Throw Me Away,and that one also sounds way better than album version.

Now,there's more few songs that not made in the album,consider them bonus tracks.
But one can be found on you tube,and it is Thoughtless.

For the conclusion,some bands can really sound good with or without electric.
Those who can are great musicians,they can deliver passion and strength of songs even when song is down to it's core.
And be sure that Korn is band in this category,this videos in the post prove my words.
