Basically when you post through the app you get points... you also get points for commenting, upvoting and watching videos.

The more points you have you get a better chance of being upvoted by Partiko. Or you can trade your points in for an upvote.

1000 points is roughly 0.01 upvote. Not much but it does add up the more you use it.
