There were cases where cops were monitoring illegal activity, I think they are not wrong in doing so as there were instances of overdoses and violence at these events.

India is a different scean altogether now, few rotten apples can ruin the whole show.

I remember at the UB40 show, some rich guys kid did not get tickets as they were sold out and the organizer could not arrange more. So the kid come with his bully friends and started abusing and threatening the organizers demaning they let them in. Luckly the cops intervened and told the kid(And his dad) to go home and sleep it off.
