Dear friends!
The fallen trees in the forest are an excellent habitat for woody mushrooms. Different kinds of mushrooms love their breed of trees. A mushroom called Laetiporus sulphureus or as it is called chicken-of-the-woods liked the fallen tree of wild cherry. Some people use it for food. In the forest it is visible from afar. So I could not pass by and took a few photos. I suggest you look at them.

Very cool photo :)

So, chicken of the woods is obviously already a lovely delicious fungus, whatever. However, does it become even more delicious because it's growing on a cherry??? Cherry wood has a beautiful aroma when burnt, so I can imagine that it might pass a nice taste to whatever is eating it. Like cows eating raspberries and giving raspberry milk? :P

Is it strange that I really want to touch those mushrooms? For some reason I would love to feel the texture....

Have you ever eaten the chicken of the woods shrooms? I haven't.

Thank you for sharing @grildrig
