In the North Room
J.P. Morgan's collections includes many Egyptian artifacts, no big surprise when you consider he beagn collecting on a much larger scale when his father, Junius, died in 1890.
These artifacts are interesting contrasted with the Renaissance style of the building and furnishings.
This guy looks a little sulky to me.
Meanwhile she looks down creepily from above the carved marble fireplace.
