An armed person (well, everyone actually) has as their primary responsibility defense of themselves and their family. Then, if they can and if they want to, they can defend those who were not responsible enough to be prepared... but they have no obligation to defend people who don't believe their own lives are worth defending enough to take the time, effort, and "legal" risk of being adequately armed at all times.
Would I risk arrest (or death-by-cop) to defend innocent people who didn't think enough of themselves and their loved ones to be armed? I don't know. I certainly don't blame anyone who chooses not to. Unlike some people.
Please give actual numbers of armed people inside those stores. It won't change a thing I said above, but you'll look less dishonest if you can prove what you claim.
