Thanks, @ecoknowme. For certain, once you walk by a mural for the fifteenth time, you tend to get so used to it that you stop noticing it. For me, it wasn't until I realized that they would make nice posts here in Steemit, that I started seeing them again.
It is interesting how 'the Steemit Lens' puts everything into a new perspective... Half seeing the Magic that was there all along... half thinking how we could turn it into content... I know do... for better or worse :)
This was so interesting. I don't see many murals and I just thought they were there to make the building more colorful. Never once did I think that there was a message. I sure will look at murals differently now; when I do see them.
Oh yeah, some are. Some also try to sell us things. Others are heavily political. This one is too, a little bit. Some are a combination of things. I feel like I should present more awesome ones, as I'm right here in the land of many murals.
