My song placement on MTV show!

So as you may be aware by now, I'm an acoustic singer-songwriter. You can find my music on most social media @alyshahofficial or on my website, Alyshah.com.

Although I usually make soulful folk music, my first official release was actually an electronic pop/chill edm song. It was a collaboration with a producer called SMiTHMUSiX and the song is titled 'Summertime Fling'. I don't watch TV much at all, like almost never, but I do have some series I get caught up in online sometimes, like Walking Dead, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Housewives of Atlanta, Survivor, The Bachelor/Bacherlotte, (don't judge me!). So one of these shows is 'Are you the one?' on MTV and I was super excited to find out they used my song for one of there scenes on the season I was watching. Season 5 Episode 6, it comes on when Hanna and Ollie 'hook up', if you want to watch it haha.

This song was selected as one of BBC Introducing West Yorkshire's best tracks of 2016 too, so I am pretty pleased about how this song did for my first release. Hopefully I can have the same success next time. I will share the youtube links to the song below!
