MISTAKES

My mistakes hunt me

Just a little slip and am on my knees

Oh see how they taunt me 

It hangs around my neck like a pendant

It's on there so every one can see

I could have avoided it 

I was reckless so I fell for it

Consequences are yet to arrive 

I dread them but still in my dream I see them 

If only there was a saviour 

To turn the hands of time and ameliorate things 

But I have decided to man up

Face the  consequences 

And learn from my mistakes
