Trading Magic the Gathering on Steemit
Hi Steemians, some of you may know from previous posts that I have been fairly active in the Australian Magic the Gathering scene for quite some time now. Through the last ten years I have bought/sold and traded many high end cards (P9, workshops, bazaars, and many other vintage all stars).
In January, 2011 I started the 'mtg australian vintage group' to help promote the vintage format nationally and create a discussion forum for new tech in the game. In January, 2013 I was asked by Andy Horne (Next Level Games Ringwood) to become part of the original admin team for the Facebook group MTG Market Australia group. I gave up that role late last year due to changing life circumstances but am still very active on the page for trades.

Only a couple of weeks ago I started on this platform and I have been thinking of whether there is space for trading cards here. With a currency inbuilt to the system it seems like it would be a worthy endeavour. So this post is my introduction to my weekly sales thread.
Some ways I will conduct the post will be:
- Prices in AUD and conversion will be made from there
- I will create a new post at least once a week with updated haves
- Once I gain some more following I will add a wants list as well
- I will ship only to Australia ($2 standard; $6 registered; $7 express) and New Zealand ($3 standard; check for registered) for the time being
- Other rules may be added as I learn the platform
- This post will be linked in all of my sales threads
I have a Steemit.chat account so one on one discussions can be had there regarding sales posts or comments can be left here, personal preference. I do not sit on my computer all day, I work as a tradesman, so i may take some time to reply but I will check in each night.

Absolutely. Normally the SBD is stable and it's supposed to be stable at $1 USD, which is intended to be helpful to merchants like yourself. I'd suggest you get going by writing a bit about Magic, maybe some stories, some info about tournaments, strategies and stuff like that to see if you can get some interest and traction. Sales could flow from there.

I have no idea what these are, but I fully support you getting some trading going on the platform. We need to get cryptos going as a viable currency and not just investment for them to work in the long term.
