MSP Waves Announcement
Dear Steemians, listeners, MSP Members & Supporters,
It is with sadness that we see one of our own leave the station and take a step back from MSP. @SirCork decided to leave MSP Waves radio for personal reasons and to pursue projects outside of MSP for the time being. I love this man like a brother as I've written on multiple occasions. I'm sad to see him go. I neither asked for him to leave, nor for him to step down, but I also didn't ask for him to stay. MSP is a completely voluntary community and a voluntary choice. People get to decide for themselves.
We like to thank @SirCork for his expertise, dedication, and leadership. He's extraordinarily talented, and built MSP Waves in a week and led it to what it is today - A Minnow Support Project run Streaming Internet Radio Station for Steemians and beyond with 19 shows and six new programs being added in the coming weeks. We have over 10,000 hours of time spent by people listening. A great accomplishment, for which we, here at MSP, are grateful, and we awarded him and his team a Medal of Honor for that accomplishment. Thank you for your positive contributions here @sircork.
In order to continue the great work of @SirCork, @globocop and @r0nd0n have assumed leadership of MSPWaves Radio. @globocop has an extensive background in business and IT operations and support, business communications and business and IT transformation. @r0nd0n is a MSP moderator and a gifted IT professional. Together they can act in similar capacities to CEO and CTO of the radio station, and we're looking forward to what they can create.
MSPWaves has big plans.
First, we are improving operations and technology. A great example of such improvement is the seamless handover from one show to the next without the need to restart your streaming application. Just one of the ways @r0nd0n has shown his talent and skill.
Growing our listenership and continuing to seek top show host talent globally is one of the team's main focus. @minnowsupport will share the vision of the station with you in the next couple of days.
It's your station. It's our station. We want your input - your involvement. Why not share your ideas and suggestions on the MSP Waves Operations Ideas and Suggestions Channel? The team will make sure to consider each and every one.

We had a good ride. It was fun while it lasted. Thank you to the team I assembled for becoming my family and friends. @r0nd0n, @globocop, of course, but let's not leave out the very first and second team additions, even before r0n and globo, who are @ma1neevent, and @uniwhisp, and soon after, @inquiringtimes or any that were added in subsequent roles. Further much love to all the show hosts and hostesses who give so freely of their time to provide information, education, steemit user spotlights and interviews, and other entertainment along the way throughout each week.
I am on to a project that will be much larger than the radio station, if all goes as planned and an annoucement about it will occur on my own blog as it reaches a stage where publication makes sense. In a nutshell, it will be a global service based mission, involving steem block chain community based, direct boots-on-the-ground aide, support, services and education for people placed at a disadvantage in economically and politically distressed regions of this big dirty green and blue rock we all walk on together.
As for my departure from MSP Waves, I will be doing a final farewell broadcast next Monday night in place of what would have been the 10th episode of my Monday Night Minnow School talk-show. Please tune in and join with me in the last show I will be doing, at least as a lead host and the founder and now former GM of MSP Waves Radio.
To all of you taking up the mantle and staying on to continue the mission of helping others, that we together penned, keep up the good work, breathe easy, and keep it breezy on the air.

Oh good sir! I just read the announcement on your blog and then this one, and I'm really wishing none of it is true. At least, different. But I'll trust your decisions and stick with you, root for you anytime. It was on PAL I discovered you (no! YOU discovered me) and it's been my most nourishing engagement on this Blockchain home we share. That, I'm grateful for. Thank you for dusting me off and helping me believe in a possibility to succeed on here, when I was far from convinced. I love you and your work, pop; and I'll look towards giving my bit in your next social venture. Go change that world!
You helped me realize my self and my needs were no longer being met in the shallow end of the pond. On to deeper things with people who really do wish to change the world. I love you, my friend, and far away steemit adopted son. <3

Thank you all For the amazing love and dedication each and every one of you show to the radio station and for all the time and blood and sweat and tears I know that you all sacrifice to bring this on the air for us.

I cannot and will not speak to the other's reason's for leaving, but I will say we left in solidarity and support of each other's positions.
I have and will always strive to do the next right thing. I will fall, I will fail, and I will get back up again, to try another time. I know you will too. And I admire you for it.
I too love you, my far away friend and will always be at your service, as I know I can count on you for the same. May we both find peace, respite and solace, as well as continued lives of service based leadership in our concurrent future endeavors. I am always here for you. Love you, my muxxified man.

Cheers to @sircork for starting such an ambitious project! I have enjoyed listening to several interviews with prominent steemians on the station... here's hoping that it can keep going.
The team will keep the air waves blowing. And if you think this was ambitious, wait till you see what I've got in store for my next "trick". ;)
