What to Wear to the War
The Armor of God is known to many, practiced by few. When danger comes at us fast threatening to harm us - to hit us, are we not instinctively protecting ourselves? Are we not shielding our head with our hands when something falls on us? Are we not evading danger by protective action? Not to use the Armor of God is akin to letting a something fall unto our head without avoiding a direct hit. Be prepared and know the dangers.Satan's Army
We can't defend against an enemy we don't acknowledge. Can we be victorious by walking into a trap blindly and wihout recourse? Where is his armry? How is it organized? How does it operate? What is their outcome and destiny?Satan and the Home
As Satan loves to discrupt and destroy the church, He often has easy play in the family, in our homes. How effective of the enemy to destroy the very foundation of society? How unsuspecting are we, willingly opening our homes to the enemy who seeks to steal, destroy and kill. This doesn't have to be!

In our previous six episodes on Spiritual Warfare, we investigated Satan's characteristics as the adversary of God and humanity, his trademark as the father of lies, as the deceiver, and his purpose role as the destroyer, the ruler and the accuser! We looked at our part - living by Faith - and not to give Satan a beachhead by giving into his lies and temptations. We even looked at Satan in church - one of his favorite battle fields.
But we must operate from a position of victory - not defeat, for Jesus already won the war for us on the cross.
Let Us Use Our Defenses
The Armor of God:
Ephesians 6:10–18 (KJV 1900)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Don't be caugt off-guard by the enemy. Equip yourself. Be pepared.
