Episode 3: Satan - The Destroyer
We are in a war.
And we are not playing anymore.
Ask these questions:
- How can we defeat an enemy we don't acknowledge - even denying his existence?
- How can we pepare against an attack if we are not discerning the source?
- How can we build our defenses without getting crushed, not knowing and understanding Satan's strateges against us?
- How can we protect ourselves and our loved ones if we do not take charge in the fight against the evil that is looking to overtake us - devour us?
Previously on God-Waves: Episodes 1 & 2
In our previous two episodes on spiritual warfare, we investigated Satan's characteristics as the adversary of God and humanity, his trademark as the father of lies, as the deceiver, and we introduced the defensive and offensive weapons we as Christians have been given by God to not only defend ourselves but operate from a position of victory - because Jesus Christ's crucifixion was not a defeat - it was a victory.
Victory
During the three days from Jesus' crucifixion to his rising from the dead, during which He went to hell for our sins, He purchased purchased our heavinly Father's forgiveness. With His blood, he purchased all those of us, who acknowledge Him as the son of God and His sacrifice.

Cognitive Dissonance
Satan is doomed.
Yet, like a fanatic ruler who hasn't gotten the message that his army has been defeated, he defiently, and in a sad display of cognitive dissonance, continues brutally to fight his cause, even though the outcome is sealed. The wounded angel has been given the death blow.
However, while Satan displays a clear mental dysfunction, he is highly intelligent, crafty and deceptive.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Our Defenses
The Armor of God:
Ephesians 6:10–18 (KJV 1900)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Don't be caugt off-guard by the enemy. Equip yourself. Be pepared.
