The hotel rooms are unique and original made by Wine Barrel. Twelve original barrels that have converted into extremely attractive hotel rooms. Eight wine barrels of 23 liters and four wine barrels of 15, 000 liters .

The hotel used the name De Vrouwe van Stavoren ( Lady of Stavoren) the popular Folk Tale which is originated in the Netherlands in 16th century.

Let me share the short story about the Lady of Stavoren.

According to the legend, a wealthy merchant's widow who, in her recklessness, ordered one of her captains to take the most precious thing in the world. After a long search the captain came home with very beautiful wheat, this to the great anger of the rich widow. In her wrath she let all the wheat fall into the sea. An old man who observed it told her the begging-rod after this waste, on which she also threw her golden ring into the sea with the words: no more than this ring returns from the sea, no more will I fall to the beggary. A short time later, her maid found the ring in the intestines of a haddock, after which the widow received the news that all her ships had been destroyed.
