Each week, different members of the Steemit Community join @Ma1neEvent and @PoeticSnake for a live voice chat about what brought them to Steem, where they are from, what they use the platform for, and any projects they may be involved with. It is fun to learn more about the amazing people in the Steemit Community, from the minnows, up to the witnesses and whales!

Joining us first from the UK was active Steemit promoter, @Starkerz! We shared with us his experience starting the #promo-steem initiative, where people go out and promote Steemit in person to more people. He talked about how they started with @stephenkendal in the UK with promo-uk, and how it has grown into a worldwide initiative to share the Steem experience with more people. People are encouraged to use the #promo-steem tag on Steemit if they are blogging about how they are sharing the platform with others! Thank you so much for joining us on the show @Starkerz, we look forward to seeing the new website, and learning more about project as it develops!

Joining us next from the United States was @InquiringTimes! He shared with us his journey on Steemit as a writer and reader, and how he has expanded into helping others on the platform! He is starting a "Welcoming Committee" type project to bring together members of the Community to help new users learn how to be successful on the platform. The project sounds like it will be a benefit to new users, and give a chance for experienced Steemians to help out and give back to the Steemit Community.
