There are! Though, not a HUGE amount of new folks every day. But it does seem like they are pretty top-notch. I mean, they found Steem. 😉
Oh come on, it’s not as if everyone who finds steem is top notch, we’ve had our fair share of people who just post pictures of socks and upvote themselves for $300 :-P
