The Opening Day
I've become THAT parent and I deserve THIS type of look...
This past Saturday...
Ethan and his team.. Royals celebrated the annual opening day festivities for the baseball league he plays for. It was a pretty fun experience as the entire shin dig opened up with a "rolling parade" thru a neighborhood all the way to the ballpark itself.
The Kids Were Pumped
My son is definitely loving the entire baseball experience but not much of my crazy video shenanigans... He pretty much stayed as far away from me and my camera. The other kids didn't mind and even got so hyped they started a dance off...
We had a blast...
BONUS - I'll even give a full LiLWANGS token to whoever upvotes and comments under the correct position my son Ethan plays on the field. Be sure to leave your bitshares account and upvote/resteem 100% to get this particular reward..

Dear @mrwang! Interesting post and content is useful. Keep posting.
Looks like he would be a good 1st base man. Enjoy your year of sport Ethan, you will always remember your first year and mrwang and his camera will make sure you remember it.
Especially the bloopers.. those will be classics
I feel sorry for him already. I think it is something dads do, and the kids cringe about.
Hehe.. he's already got some bloopers you can watch in the "epic and over dramatic baseball game" post from last week
I suppose that is why they leave so quickly when they get a chance.
Lol, he doesn't like it till he watches on YouTube and thinks someone else is putting him in YouTube. He loves the videos after he watches
Ethan plays Infield? What position 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Catcher?
I'm thinking 2nd base. I enjoyed the videos as well. I grew up playing baseball for seven years of my life. I find it a very well disciplined sport for the kids.
Once born and of age, my son will be playing baseball ⚾️ for sure. He has his father's legacy to maintain. I will however, refrain from my father's legacy of giving out a beat downs anytime I struck out or dropped the ball. It made me an amazing player, but fear is no way to learn. In fact fear induces our fight or flight response which actually makes us incapable of true learning since we're stuck in the frontal lobe.

Thanks and praise! V
I know right.. Same here, grew up playing little league. I have the same expectations on my kiddo too.. gotta keep the baseball legacy strong.
In response to your edited version.. yes i agree. There's no fun in fear and you sure won't learn as you should. My dad was hard on me too but i never received any beat downs.. I'm sorry to hear that.
Ethan is a Pitcher?
Ethan plays Outfield? Right, Left or Center?
