And here's my entry:

Buto ijo, is a mythological creature originated from Javanese Culture, Indonesia. They've been depicted in folklores as a green giant humanoid monster. Resemblance of Hulk character in modern pop culture. Told in the stories that he hide in the forest, he would show-up when hungry, looking for children's to eat. Ewww... creepy. I think this creature was created by oldest to scare the children not to play near the forest, considering the danger of wild animals. Or it's a warning to children not to play outside till night because Buto Ijo would seek food at night.

Done digitally on Photoshop, here's the progress shots:

Hi this my entry for mrm-artcontest hosted by @melooo182
Based on my theme :YALI - it's a ancient Indian mythological creature with fierce elephant head and lion's body with sharp teeths and claws.

Since it's been carved and sculptured all over temples and other ancient old architecture designs in India. It's been believed that this creature lived in ancient centuries but it's still a myth. Even it's a myth but Yali is still alive in sculptures and statues all over Indian history of architecture.Screenshot (4).png
