Disclosure of the number of tickets sold for the closing ceremony of the Winter Games
According to the Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympic Games in Pyongyang, tickets for the closing ceremony, which will be held on Sunday, remain 30% just four days before the ceremony.
A total of 17,900 tickets were sold out of 22,000 tickets, or 70 percent of the tickets, said Sung Ba Kyu, spokesman for the committee.
The Koreans may decide too late whether to attend the ceremony, after the opening ceremony on February 9 was very cold.
However, the organizing committee was able to reach its goal of selling 1,068 million tickets. Song said 50,000 and one million tickets had already been sold, and it was expected that the target would be reached and increased in recent days.
