9 TV series to watch for summer 2017. Game of Thrones, Gypsy, Snowfall, etc.

Usually the summer is a stagnation period for TV shows. I remember my torments to find new TV shows. But now summer is a full-fledged TV series period.

This summer we get many season premieres. I chose nine to share with you.

1. GYPSY (season premiere - June 30, 2017)

Trailer:

Gypsy is a television drama series released by Netflix. Naomi Watts stars as Jean Holloway.

Jean Holloway is a psychotherapist. She is fixated on her patients too much and enters into intimate relationships with their relatives. Will she go too far?

Naomi Watts dominates in her role. We don’t notice other characters, but it’s not a problem. It's time to shine for Naomi Watts.

2. SNOWFALL (premiere -July 5, 2017)

Snowfall is a crime drama released by FX. We already have Narcos, Queen of the South and now we get another “drug drama” about crack epidemic in LA in the eighties.

• Carter Hudson as Teddy McDonald (CIA operative)
• Emily Rios as Lucia Villanueva (the daughter of a crime boss)
• Sergio Peris-Mencheta as Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata

3. WILL (season premiere - July 10, 2017)

Trailer:

Remember William Shakespeare? That's TV series about his youth.
TV series was released on TNT.
Young William Shakespeare (Laurie Davidson) tries to support his wife and three children. He will devote his creativity and life to the struggle with dictatorship. Intrigue, passion, love - this is what we are expecting from "Will".

4. GAME OF THRONES return (season premiere - July 16, 2017)

Trailer:

The penultimate season of great saga. Who will die next? That is the only question we ask.

Queen Cersei I Lannister tries to rule Westeros without allies. Theon and Yara Greyjoy along with Daenerys Targaryen are going to destroy Euron Greyjoy. Jon Snow is preparing to fight the Others.

5. MIDNIGHT, TEXAS (season premiere - July 24, 2017)

The Vampire Diaries are over. Supernatural is not as good as before. But we missed the mysticism! And here it is - Midnight, Texas on NBC!

Midnight - it's the town name which is located in the middle of the desert. It's a secret place for vampires and other monsters.

Midnight, Texas is based on the book by author Charlaine Harris.

6. ROOM 104 (season premiere - July 28, 2017)

Trailer:

HBO TV series created by Jay and Mark Duplass.

Genre is from comedy to thriller. Each episode tells of new heroes, who stays in a cheap motel across the road from Cleveland Airport.

7. THE LAST TYCOON (season premiere - July 28, 2017)

Trailer:

I'm so so exciting about The last tycoon. It based on book the same name written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Hollywood, thirties. This is the story of a major producer, his daughter, about success and love.

8. THE KEEPERS (season premiere - May 19, 2017)

Trailer:

The keepers is documentary criminal series released on Netflix.

9. MARVEL’S THE DEFENDERS (season premiere - August 18, 2017)

It’s a rattling mixture from Netflix. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Elektra. They unite to fight against a common enemy – The Hand.

My compilation is a drop in the ocean. Hope we'll get many quality TV shows with interesting stories. As for me I want something to hit a nerve).
