I am a movie geek, and I will share all my knowledge with you over the time. Today, let's review something up to date - Westworld. Season 1 finale aired yesterday and I think it is worth talking about it. After all, this might be the best new series of 2016.

Short recap with NO spoilers

New times. Crazy people want to freely kill, screw around, and get drunk. Other crazy people create robots, put them in a small world, and open up the park, where people can follow their desires. Everyone is happy. Robots are being served as realistic sex toys and moving targets. They get killed, repaired, killed, repaired, and the loop continues. This perfect theme park is called "Westworld". However, some down to reality prick must have quoted Shakespeare and said

"Violent delights have violent ends."

So of course, the shit must get real. Some robots start remembering things, they were not supposed to remember. Some people start to look for a little extra in the park. The owners of the park are not happy with management. Your everyday real life drama in a sci-fi mode. All this tension builds up to a season finale in which.......

How is Steemit related?

It is a funny take on the show. Some of the patterns might be similar, though.

People in "Westworld" had desires - sex, killing, and whatever else. Steemians have desires as well - money, recognition, and (input here). Nothing wrong with that.

People in "Westworld" created robots to serve for them. Well, we have bots in Steemit. Too many similarities? Still it is nothing very wrong with that. Morally arguable? Maybe, but not wrong.

People in "Westworld" took it to another level. Desires took over them, and they forgot how to act in a good faith. People started to work for the desires, but not other way around. Here comes the risk.

Bots and robots can serve as a good tool, as long as the community is not forgoten and burried deep below the ground. For all of you, who are willing to trade Steemit for a dime - check out "Westworld" and see what happens.

Robots in "Westworld" eventually started their rebellion. Anyone noticed any dysfunctionalities in Artificial Intelligence of Steemit, yet? Just wait, haha.

I only wanted to say that you people, be careful in what you wish for, stick with community, and things will be all right!

Serious take on Westworld and problems with robots

This will be short. "Westworld" really makes you wonder about this short line between acceptable and over the top. Yes, they show robots takingover in a straightforward way. It happens in reality as well. Computers and tablets take over of young kids these days. Internet is controlling lives of so many (it is super helpful, but addictive). Crashing smart phones break our hearts on the same time. You see what I mean? When is the line crossed and we start to serve computers, but not the other way?

For example, answer me: is it fine to have sex with virtual reality glasses on, if it feels like real, but actually isn't? These are the questions of our modern society, because with evolving technologies, we will be able to do so much more. However, I still believe that side effect of those things might be just a little too much. Having sex with robot might give you a fake momentary pleasure, but it will never fulfill the need of warmness, IMHO.

Anyway, will our generations be here to witness how robots take over in this old fashioned movies way? We just got to follow Japan, because they are like 20 years ahead of the rest of the world in technology. In my opinion, we will either witness the robots taking over or Nature will kills us all a little before that.

Anyone here watched "Westworld"? What are your thoughts about this TV show?

If you haven't seen it yet, go and watch it now. It is relevant, actors are freaking amazing (Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Rachel Wood, and so many others), and the script is well written most of the time.

I will leave you with this lovely dog:

I think I am a couple episodes behind on Westworld. But, what I have ascertained from watching it is that the show/movie is soft-disclosure to human cloning and what whistleblower DONALD MARSHALL has been exposing for about 5 years now.

Let me give you the quick run-down of what Donald Marshall has been exposing and how Westworld is related to it.

Donald says that there are human cloning centers all throughout the world in which many clones of politicians and celebrities are stored. They can be activated once the original individual, that has been cloned, falls asleep. At these cloning centers the people with authority do whatever they want to the clones, just like in the movie/show Westworld. If they kill the clone -- another clone is on a slab waiting to be activated. The consciousness of the original( aka anchor) can be transferred to unlimited clones after each death. This is called MEGA-DEATH and they even had Donald Marshall on the cover of The World Needs A Hero album as a sick joke.

Here is a video I made in regards of whistleblower Donald Marshall:

Here is another good starting point for Donald Marshall info: donaldmarshallrevolution.com

That is cool! I don't know if I can believe that it is happening already, but why not lol. If we have books and movies on this matter, we must have someone who is trying to recreate it as well. Just works like that.
However, I really doubt that Donald Marshall would have a chance to speak up, if he knew these things for a fact.
Thanks for info. I will make sure to dig deeper into this! Interesting!

It is definitely the best show of 2016 in my humble opinion. It's interesting for you to make the comparison to steemit. I myself have found I'm looking around at actual people with a bit of suspicion, haha!

Haha, yeah it is really good. If you have to look at some people with suspicion after watching the show, they might not be robots, but still something is wrong with them :D
