England, second half of the XIX century. In such the time of the Second Industrial Revolution and the science,  sir Lionel Frost is desperately seeking a clue that demonstrates the existence of mythical beings in order to being  accepted into the Society of the Great Men, a club led by his rival, Lord Piggot-Dunceby. A golden opportunity appears when he receives a misspelled letter from someone who says to know the Sasquatch, a mythical being whom Frost considers to be the missing link within the evolutionary scale.

The point is that the one who wrote the letter was the Sasquatch itself. Or as Frost would call him, Mr. Link. From there, Frost, Link and Adelina Fortnight, a former girlfriend of the charismatic explorer, will embark on a trip from the United States to the Himalayas, full of hired assassins and secret societies.

The narrative of the film is simple, although it needed to develop more or simply cut  the unnecessary holes. The voices of Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldaña, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Thompson and Stephen Fry gave the characters their own stamp; the protagonists in particular generated mixed emotions on each scene. Mr. Link (or Susan, as he called himself later; voiced by Galifianakis) seemed, to me, the most innocent guy in the world, one of those that makes you want to hug him. Lionel (Jackman), on the other hand, seemed to be the most irritating man, so it's not surprising that Adelina (Saldaña) has the desire to stamp a fist on his face. As for the two main antagonists, Lord Piggot-Dunceby (Fry) and  Queen Yeti (Thompson), they seemed interesting since both share a common motive: the resistance to technological advances and scientific discoveries, and also, above all, to the questioning of what is established in the sociopolitical and religious field.

Is an entertaining film which message was once and again repeated both on movies and literature: The acceptation of oneself is first; everything else comes later.
