I haven't heard about this movie before, and neither about the Let The Right One In. But, based on your description, this sounds like a typical Scandinavian movie in which they use a lot of visual elements to create a reaction in the viewer (from nudity, to violence etc)... It kind of reminds me of the Stieg Larsson books (The Millenium Trilogy in which you have the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo).

You made me curious about the movie, but I think I might consider myself to faint of heart to watch it... time will show!
