Blade Runner Sequel Teaser Footage.
It's been long since 1982 when the first film of Ridley Scott's Sci-Fi noir epic graced theaters for eager moviegoers. Having seeing it for the first time several years ago, it left such an impression on me that it's dazzling images stayed with me; even to this day. Fast forward to 2016 to get a first glimpse of teaser footage for the upcoming sequel to the classic adapted from Philip K. Dick's Sci-Fi novel "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep" about hard-boiled detective Rick Decard tasked with hunting down five fugitive rogue replicants.

Die hard fans (like me) are a bit skeptical and fearful about a sequel to the first film, but with director of the critically acclaimed 2016's "Arrival" and with Scott's role as executive producer, those fears should be put to rest. Check out those wonderfully dazzling visuals!! Remember that hauntingly beautiful mysterious yellow desert landscape! Those crowded and bustling neon-lined city streets of post-apocalyptic Los Angeles!! And for the ladies, check out Ryan Gosling's sweet-looking coat!! And for long time fans of the film, a peak at the original Blade Runner himself, Harrison Ford!!
I hope this is enough to get fans excited; like I am. But I'm more interested in the story. That's what's most important.

Currently, the official plot synopsis is under wraps by Ridley and co, but here's a brief description. Set 30yrs after the events of Blade Runner, newcomer LAPD Officer K (Gosling) uncovers a long lost secret that has the potential to open Pandora's Box on society and it is this discovery that leads him to seek the help of an old ally; a blade runner whose exile in an unknown area of post-apocalyptic Los Angeles raises more questions than answers.
So far that's all we have to go on, but that little tidbit is really intriguing and fans would be dying to find out what happens when the film arrives October 6, 2017. Starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks.
