Why the fuck should you watch “Green Book”?
• You haven’t smiled once since 1997 because you’re still sad that Rose didn’t make any room for DiCaprio on the floating wreckage and let him die in “Titanic”.
• You believe that everyone can change for the better.
• You like naive but sincere stories that make you giggle, while feeding you some important values that make you function as a normal person in our strange societies.
• You haven't answered your mother's calls for a while and you want to compensate it by taking her to see this crowd pleasing Oscar-bait.

Green Book is a true events inspired dramedy that deals with the topic: segregation and racism in the early 60’s in the USA. There are two main characters. One is an Italian-American called Tony Lip (the chubby Aragon aka Viggo Mortensen) – a simple man, who works as a bouncer and has a good heart somewhere deep under rough, fat and racist surface. The other dude is a famous African-American pianist, sophisticated and snobbish Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), who wants to go on a tour with his trio into the southern states of the USA (you know the place, where racism was especially fucked up).

It’s basically a movie about two guys driving around the USA for 2 months, overcoming prejudices and finding respect towards each other. And how do they do that, you ask? Well they eat chicken, drink alcohol, spend some quality time in jail and try to visit racist restaurants and -shops.

The best part of the movie was definitely the character Tony Lip – his simple approach to life and detailed performance by Viggo Mortensen made it something you can remember even after a few years, maybe? At least the charming chemistry between the well written characters is the thing that should pull you to the cinema.

If you’re going to eat, then eat like it was your last meal!

Why the fuck you shouldn’t watch “Green Book”?
• You like the series “Black Books” and there is no more room for book-named things in your life.
• You hate when people get older and you really want to keep the memory of a young Viggo Mortensen swinging his sword.
• You are a millennial kid and don’t care about racism because you’ve never seen it.
• You belong to some creepy right-wing cult and are late for a cross burning event.
• You don't like when movies simplify social issues to be appealing for wider audiences.
