Jigsaw ? horror movie or BDSM movie (2017)

Saw initially is an effective minimalist thriller with a pretty decent sadism flavor. Seven films later, he brings the term slasher to his most basic definition: it's about slashing people . The philosophical theme evaporated and its plot mechanism simplified ((only)) into a slaughtering technique with a brutal trap. I think the only thing that people who watch the movie care about is how the characters will be slaughtered.

Anyway, who was watching the movie Saw expecting moral contemplation of truth and redemption? (all Saw movies do have those elements, but only the first film is pretty okay tucking it). No one is expecting that and Jigsaw is not a movie like that either. The movie is familiar. We feel dejavu . The plot seems like we've seen in the sequel-sequel Saw . As a differentiator is a last-minute twist that answers the majority of its plots-holes . As always, the story begins with some potential victims who are forced to "play" at a location guided by instructions from a Jigsaw doll. In this movie, its location is an old warehouse. The trap is a chain that crosses the neck that is connected with a chainsaw on the wall. Our potential victims consist of 5 people, among them played by Laura Vandervoort, Mandela Van Peebles , and Paul Braunstein . Their acting requirements are tense expression, hysterical shouting, and loss of organs.

From some of the tapes left in the warehouse, there was the sound of the original Killer Jigsaw Killer, John Kramer. They are commanded to confess sin in the past. If it is manut with game rules, they may be free. The problem is that no one will admit their own sins, even when almost slaughtered. They even ngeles with small khilaf-khilaf. How did Jigsaw not get annoyed? If you want ngeles should be with the confessed vertigo and then treated in the hospital. Djitoe. Is that right sir? * salim *.

If you remember, John has been killed since Saw III (but he left enough cassettes and men to drive his franchise up to Saw 3D ; you can read the chronology here ). His body has been autopsied and we have even seen his brain examined. Or is it so? The Jigsaw film takes the setting 10 years after John's death. So how can we hear again the original sound of Tobin Bell ? Or John's DNA found by the police in the victim's fingernails?

Yep. The film still follows the grip of Saw's films, where the plot of "games" goes parallel with police investigation drama of Jigsaw's classmates with CSI soap operas and the like. The mutilated bodies with Jigsaw trademark are found on the streets. Detective Halloran ( Callum Keith Rennie ) was assigned to investigate with Detective Hart ( Cle Bennett ). The medical officer Logan ( Matt Passmore ) and his assistant Eleanor ( Hannah Emily Anderson ) are responsible for the autopsy process.

In this universe, Jigsaw has become a kind of legend. There is a site dedicated to Jigsaw. Everyone already knows who John Kramer is and how the successor of Jigsaw operates. Anyone can be a Jigsaw or a Jigsaw victim. So immediately, all these people are suspicious of each other. And they are also given a vague background that deserves suspicion. Nelson is a former post-war trauma medical army. Halloran is not as straight as it looks. While Eleanor has an exaggerated interest in Jigsaw's modus operandi.

The film is cultivated by the relatively new Spierig Brothers in the Saw franchise. This director duo presents a sophisticated time-travel mechanism in Predestination , and they handle the Jigsaw parallel plots smoothly. They also make their visual aesthetics up; the film no longer looks like an over-the-top sadistic campy movie with abrupt cut and extreme color schemes. Even so, they sometimes still have to make a scene, making it look more fun than it really is, because the scriptwriting team seems to have run out of inspiration to present a more innovative slaughter method. Lazy and ludicrous at the same time.

My favorite part is in the wheat barn. Jigsaw threatens to drown our victims with wheat, because wheat is a sadistic killer - this is not to be debated. Suddenly the spray of wheat stopped. Maybe Jigsaw is considering his mistake, "It's not enough gress". Then just down loaded all kinds of kitchen utensils.

I wonder what this movie is for? The story is relatively eleven-twelve qualities with Saw II to Saw 3D (except a pretty creative twist ), while his cadres are less crazy. Oh yeah, I know. This film is just release miss, especially for the audience who still able to survive post Saw 3D . Whoever it is. No matter who they are
