EVERYDAY Movie Review

in #movies6 years ago

Could you fall in love with someone who wakes up in a different body, always the same age, never the same person twice?
You wouldn't even know what that person was going to look like or be like until they contacted you first. How would you feel? This film starring #AngourieRice and #DebbieRyan along with several other amazing young actors this movie is heartwarming, emotional and exciting. For us millienials, this may be something we could relate to; especially in the dating world. Trying to figure out who we are attracted to, and testing the waters. Sometimes, we are lucky and find the one we want to spend the rest of our lives with and others well, not so much. But in this story of unconditional love, you see that love doesn't have a face. When you learn to appreciate the small things, enjoy the company of that person and hold on to the things that really matter, that's when you find out what true love is.

The movie "Everyday" also teaches us that tomorrow isn't promised, your loved ones are not guaranteed tomorrow. So to make everyday count you must live that day like it's your last and leave your mark. Allow the people you interact with remember who you are, if not why are you living?

I remember thinking several times, I wonder how or what other people are thinking, I can only be in my body, but what if, there was a way to "transport" to another and live for them for a day and learn how to see the world through their eyes. Unfortunately, "A" didn't have the ability to choose who he wanted to be the next day but he was able to figure out how long he stayed to make a difference. I believe that's a clear example on how we live our lives, we may not always choose where we end up or control the situations we must face, but we can definitely choose how we make of it, what we take from it and how we leave our mark. Were you successful or did you fail?

The movie was a great one and regardless of the many negative remarks it received, it shows the viewer that life and love aren't controlled, you have to let them be free. Given a rating of 50% and an average of 5.6/10 by Rotten Tomatoes, only 62% said they liked it. I truley believe this film wasn't given the credit it deserved.
