Captain Marvel Movie Casts Mar-Vell
It has long been speculated that Mar-Vell will have an appearance in Captain Marvel as Carol Danvers received her powers through an accident that happened while she was kidnaped to get to Mar-Vell. He is essential to her origin story.
As always Marvel spared no expense and got Jude Law for the role. This is super interesting considering that he is also working for WB, their rival, as he is also playing Dumbledore in the new Fantastic Beasts. Jude Law is the name talent that Marvel loves to have in their movies to make audiences feel safe and to let them know that a great movie is before them. Especially when the lead is not that familiar, sorry Brie Larson. Like the first Thor had Anthony Hopkins, now Captain Marvel will have Jude Law. I wouldn't worry about his role overshadowing hers though, it's still her movie. I guess it’s time Jude Law him to hit the gym.

Lol don't know if I'm feeling that casting, but I suspect he won't be in the movie long so you get the added star power and the low cost on the topflight actor.
