It`s been 13 years since I saw the movie. I´ve only seen it once,but I still remember every second of it. It is a very unusual story yet so beautiful, If you watch it once, you will always remember it.
The movie is a romantic drama. The story starts with a young man named Tae-suk who finds homes where its residents are off on a holiday. He puts fake fliers at all the doors in a block and comes back a little while later to see which of the fliers are untouched. He breaks into houses, but not to steals. He only spends a night or two, and during his stay, he fixes ome of the broken things in the houses. His story takes a different path when he breaks into a house and falls for Sun-hwa who is a beautiful woman being aboused by her husband.
This was the first Korean movie I have ever watched. It´s also the reason I became a big fan of Kim Ki-Duk movies. Although, I have watched most of his movies, I have never seen a better one. In my opinion, this movie is his master peace. One of the unusual thing about this movie is that there is almost no conversation at all. In fact, I can`t remember Tae-suk and Sun-hwa saying a single word during the entire 1 hour and 35 minutes, yet they delievers messages more than audience can bear.

Filmi izleyeli tam 13 yil oldu. Sadece bir kere gordum, ama yine de her saniyesini cok iyi hatirliyorum. Cok siradisi bir hikaye, ama o kadar guzel ki, eger bir kere izlerseniz hayatiniz boyunca aklinizdan cikmayacak.
Film bir romantik drama. Hikaye, sahipleri tatilde olan evleri bulmaya calisan Tae-suk adinda bir genc ile basliyor. Kahramanimiz evlerin kapi koselerine sahte reklam kagitlari sikistirir ve geri donup hangilerinin ellenmemis oldugunu bulur. Sahibi evde olmayan evlere girer ama hic hirsizlik yapmaz. Sadece evin sahibi gibi geceyi gecirir ve ayrilir. Tabi bu sirada evde bozuk ve kirik olan seyleri de tamir etmeyi ihmal etmez. Genc adamin hikayesi, girdigi bir evde gordugu Sun-hwa adindaki genc ve guzel kadina asik olmasiyla baska bir sekil alir. Hikaye, Sun-hwa adindaki genc kadinin kocasi tarafindan siddet gormesi nedeniyle daha da karmasik bir hal alir.
Bu benim izledigim ilk Kore yapimi filmdi. Ayni zamanda bu film sayesinde buyuk bir Kim Ki-Duk hayrani haline geldim. Fakat onun hemen hemen butun filmlerini izlememe ragmen, bu filmin yerini alabilecek bir yapit goremedim. Bana gore Koreli unlu yonetmenin en buyuk eseri. Film ile ilgili bir baska enteresan nokta basroldeki oyuncularin film boyunca neredeyse hic konusmamasi. Fakat buna ragmen izleyicinin alabileceginden fazla mesajlar vermeyi basarmis.
Eger filmi henuz izleme firsati bulamadiysaniz, bu hafta sonuna bir plan yapmanizi tavsiye ederim. Filmden kucuk bir kesidi asagisa paylasiyorum.

Vaaaay bayağı ağrı filmle karşılaşmışsınız :D Ben de bunu Türkiye'ye geldikten sonra ancak izlemiştim. Çok saçma görünüyor ama yapımcı'nın öznelliği iyi gösteren bir film. diye yorumlayabilirim :)
