Movieteller

Hello everyone. I am Andrei, a movie lover from Romania. The reason I am starting to write is because I am eager to share my thoughts or recommendations about what I call good movies, directors or even actors. You know what they say "Happiness Is Only Real When Shared". While I am happy to write about the films I appreciate, I am also open to hear about your own preferences regarding this subject.

Why another movie blog?

Maybe one of the things that we as people are searching for is the search for meaning. And this is valid not only for movies but for many aspects of our lives. Maybe many of you watched movies that didn't really helped you in any way, thinking "I have lost two hours of my life".

The main goal of these articles will be to help movie lovers, choose inspiring movies that help them enrich mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Time is the greatest asset we have. No one would want to waste it, at least not be bad movies.

How my journey started

Movies were not my interest, until I was about 15 years old. When I was in high school I heard about my Informatics teacher as being a cultured person. I knew he has seen many great movies so just out of curiosity I asked him to borrow me something that he considers to be a good movie.

He gave me "The Seventh Seal" directed by Ingmar Bergman. At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it, because it was so old, but I watched anyway. A few hours later I was still thinking about that movie. It had a great impact on me. That was actually the film that entirely changed my perception about cinematography even though I was very young back then.
From that moment on I started my journey in searching deep meaning, inspiring movies. While, I'm still searching I would also like to share what I've already acquired, that's why from now on I'm gonna be the "movieteller".

In conclusion, I really hope this will be a space where you can find inspiration in your own search for movies that really count. Let's all share our most valuable experiences!
