AVATAR 2 SET TO REVOLUTIONIZE 3D

AVATAR 2 has been almost 10 years in the making. Director James Cameron promises the movie will be a  visually stunningly 3D experience the likes of which have not been seen before. The movie, which is being released on 18th December 2020 will be the first 3D movie screened in some cinemas without the need for 3D glasses. That's right no 3D glasses required, provided the cinema you are seeing it in has rolled out  auto-stereoscopic screens and large panel displays required to see the movie glasses free. However, if you have to watch the movie through 3D glasses then it still promises to be even better than 3D today as Cameron has collaborated  with Dolby Cinema, who have developed high dynamic range projection that can put 16 foot-lamberts of light on a 3D screen through the glasses, which in itself is revolutionary. Today you see 3D  at about three foot-lamberts. Sixteen is what you should be seeing.  Cameron says,

" "I guarantee one thing: Avatar 2, 3, 4, and 5 are all going to be in 3D and they will look sumptuous,"
