With the announcement of Olaf's Frozen Adventure, (a short film that opens in front of Pixar's Coco starting November 22nd) let's take a look at some fun facts from 2013's Frozen!

1.Frozen is the 9th highest grossing film in the world.

2.Both Idina Menzel (Elsa) and Kristen Bell (Anna) auditioned for the role of Rapunzel in Tangled.

3."The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen influenced Frozen. If you say the characters Hans, Kristoff, Anna, Sven fast in that order it sounds like Hans Christian Andersen.

4.Frozen's director, Jennifer Lee, is the first woman to direct a Disney animated movie.

5.Originally, ELsa was supposed to be the villain.

6.Elsa has 420,000 strands of hair, Rapunzel has 27,000, and a human has 100,000 on average.

7.Frozen took 600 people (50 for the ice castle sequence) and 2.5 years to make.

8.The song "Let It Go" only took 1 day to write. (What?!)

9.There is a stuffed animal Mickey Mouse on one of the shelves in Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna.

10.Rapunzel and Eugene from Tangled are seen walking into the castle's gates during the song "For The First Time In Forever".
