10 Incredible Facts About The Incredibles

in #movies7 years ago

Hello movie marauders! The Incredibles is one of the best animated films. It came out in 2004, and a sequel to it is slated to come out June 15, 2018. I don't know about you, but I am extremely excited for The Incredibles 2! Let's take a look at some fun facts about this superhero classic!

1. The Incredibles was the first Pixar movie that only had CG humans.

2. Director Brad Bird realized too late that the villain, Syndrome, resembled him. He said he would have changed how Syndrome looks if he realized the resemblance earlier.

3. There were four times as many locations used in The Incredibles than any other Pixar film.

4. Jason Lee (who plays Syndrome) was able to record his lines in only 4 days. Craig T. Nelson (who plays Mr. Incredible) took 2 years to record all his dialogue.

5. The Incredibles is the first Pixar movie to not have the Pizza Planet truck as an easter egg.

6. Director Brad Bird unintentionally voiced Edna. He originally asked Lily Tomlin to voice Edna, but she turned it down when she heard Brad Bird's test voice.

7. Holly Hunter (who plays Elastigirl) learned real military flight language for the scene where Elastigirl flies the plane to Syndrome's fortress.

8. Director Brad Bird wanted Baby Jack Jack to transform a 5th time into goo. This did not happen because it would have taken an extra 2 months that they didn't have time for.

9. DC Comics did not like the name Elastigirl because one of their characters is named Elasti-Girl. The compromise was that in promotions outside of the film Elastigirl would be called Mrs. Incredible.

10. Spencer Fox (who plays Dash) ran around the studio to have a realistic out-of-breath voice.
