10 Awesome Facts About Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Hey movie marauders! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is one of the most beloved Marvel films. With another Guardians movie confirmed, it is clear that these movies are a hit. It has comedy and depth which makes it so much more than a superhero movie (don't forget that soundtrack). Vol. 2 has made $846 million at the Box Office, which is actually $72.7 million more than the first movie! Let's take a look at some fun facts about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that are out of this world! [Warning: There Are SPOILERS In This Article]

1. It took Dave Bautista (who plays Drax) 90 minutes to apply his makeup, compared to 4 hours in the first film.

2. Writer/Director James Gunn choreographed and did the motion capture for Baby Groot's dance in the opening scene.

3. Vin Diesel's voice was not altered in any way for his Baby Groot performance.

4. Taserface's makeup took 2 hours and 30 minutes-3 hours and 20 minutes to apply.

5. James Gunn wants Nebula to have her own spin-off movie (yess please!).

6. Vol. 2 is the first MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movie to use a number instead of a subtitle besides Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3.

7. Gregg Henry (who plays Peter's grandfather in the first film) is seen again in Vol. 2 in a minivan just escaping death by Ego's plants.

8. Michael Rooker (who plays Yondu) called James Gunn after finding out that his character dies(Rooker read the end of the script first).

9. Ego's car in the beginning of the movie is the same color as Star Lord's ship.

10. Groot stops dancing when Drax is around because he knows that Drax does not approve of dancing (it is revealed later in the film that Drax was drawn to his wife because she did not dance).
