Retro Movie Reminisce: Fire and Ice
When I was a young one, watching the likes of Mickey Mouse, Danger Mouse, Donald Duck, blah, blah, blah, Fire and Ice happened to show on the telly one day, and for some reason it blew me away.

It wasn't just another kiddy show. The fact that it had a mature story-line and some realistically proportioned human figures and movements kept me hooked.
A queen from the north named Juliana had arisen to become very powerful, with a hunger to extend her realm throughout the known world. She raised her son, Nekron, to be conversant with some dark arts and mental powers. Together they went about conquering territories, spreading glaciers over them from their northern stronghold called Ice Peak.
They finally came upon the southern territory of Fire Keep, where they had to contend with the remnants of humanity that had gathered around the kingdom ruled by a generous King Jarl.
The film was produced by Ralph Bakshi and Frank Frazetta.
