Hello Steemians!

👽 Today I'll be writing a review about Ready Player One 👽

Plot:

Ready Player One is a 2018 American science fiction adventure film, produced and directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the Ernest Cline's 2011 novel of the same name. The film is set in the year 2045, when much of humanity, escaping the desolation of the real-world, uses the virtual reality software OASIS to engage in work and play. Wade Watts discovers clues to a hidden gem within the program that promises the winner full ownership of the OASIS, and joins several allies to try to complete the game before indentured players working for a large company, run by Nolan Sorrento, can do so.

My thoughts:

First and foremost, I'd just like to clarify the fact that Steven Spielberg is one of the greatest directors of all time. This movie is my favourite out of everything he has directed -- Jaws, Jurassic Park, Close Encounters, The Adventures of Tintin, The Color Purple, Indiana Jones, E.T. -- and that's saying alot! The CGI is amazing and I believe the actors did a great job in portraying their roles. There are multiple references to the famous games throughout the entire movie so for all the gamers out there, this film was made for you. The movie itself wasn't scary but the fact that this could happen one day is daunting... and that's also what makes this movie that much better!
