I love Teshigahara! I get the comparisons with Lynch and Bunuel, but he has his own distinct style. The Face of Another is perhaps his best film, and absolutely one of the best of the decade. I do find some of the camerawork a little distracting, but that's just a nitpick, really. Beautiful review, worthy of the film. :)
