Top 5 Book Based Movies that dont Suck

Its not a lie that every film director has taken inspiration in at least 1 book in his life to make a movie, in fact I would bet that EVERY movie in the world has some book out there wich made it possible, but some directors instead of taking inspiration actually want to take it a little bit further, and decide to make their own film adaptations of their favorites books, and thats the point we are adressing today, if you are a movies fan and also a books fan you will know that 80% of book based movies sucks hard, but there are a small percentage that actually are pretty damn good, and today I will give my top 5, as always, if you think you hace a better choice feel free to comment below.

5...Hellraiser.

You never saw this film? and you call yourselve a horror movie fan? haha, if you know who pinhead is you know this guy back in the 80s could kick Jason and Freddys ass any day of the week, why hellraiser? well maybe because on this list this is the only movie that was made by the same writter of the book, thats rigth mr Clive Barker decide to take his own creation to the big screen, and the result? ok he change a some things here annd ther, but you have to be honest, its a hell of a good movie, that eventually created one of the icons of terror...Wait what? you mean Clive Barker book over Stephen King?...Yeah, sorry for the King fans, but well we should be honest, King books are better than Barker, but man Stephen King book based movies suck, I mean they are decent movies, but cannot be compared to the books, do yourself a favor and read the shinning an it ok?

4...Clockwork Orange

Ok first of all let met be clear, im not a Kubric fan, actually I cant stand the guy, but we have to be honest here, that dude actually made a pretty fucking decent movie here, in fact I think it could be his best movie, but theres something funny, I myself along with other people think that the final was a little dissapointing, and Kubric himself used to think this as well, did you know that this was because the final chapter of the original history never reached to kubric hands untill the movie was already  released? do you want to know what said this chapter? well as always i dont like to give away spoilers so I hope you have a good time looking for it.

3...Lord of the Ring (trilogy)

I know this its not a surprise to anyone, mr Peter Jackson made a masterpiece with this one, its like Tolkien himslef made the fucking movie, enough said, lets continue,

2...Forrest Gump.

You did not know Forrest Gump was based on a book? well know you belong in that little part of the wolrd who knows it, and the other you should know its that the movie (one of my favourite of all time) was an awsome adaptation, the reason on why this is first that lord of the ring its simple, I like this movie better (screw you lord of the ring fan boys)

1...The Godfather

Maybe my favourite book, and maybe my favourite movie, who knows, whats 100% true is that mr Coppolla did one hell of a job in this one, not only giving life to one of the best performances ever by the legendary Marlon Brandon, but creating a movie that actually many think to be better than the book, and creating a sequel that broke rule that says "sequels suck" because The Godfatjer II was AMAZING, thank you Francis Ford Coppolla for this amazing movie based on that amazing book by mr Mario Puzzo.
