To Kill a Mocking Bird (1962)
Maw says…. This movie was set in the depression era in the south. I love movies that pull at your heartstrings and this movie had that for sure. Whenever you put small innocent children in a sad depressed state it will hit your heart for sure. Gregory Peck is such a great actor you will love him right from the start. He’s a kind widower father and defense attorney who must defend a man that was charged with a crime he did not commit. But because of his race he is judged guilty from the start. You will most definitely be on Gregory's side.
Paw says…. I thought this movie was a little slow. I did love the kids but to me Peck was a little robotic and stiff. Sure, he was handsome but like I told Maw I saw Perry Mason do better than this. Maybe that’s not fair for the age of this film, but overall it was very entertaining and a good family film.
