Different Versions Of You

I watched a movie that blew my mind. The main character goes crazy when he realizes no one really knows him.

The gist is that the person you think of as "yourself" exists only for you, and even you don't really know who that is. Every person you meet, have a relationship with or make eye contact with on the street forms a version of "you" in their heads.

You're not rhe same person to your mom, your dad, your siblings than you are to your coworkers, your neighbours and your friends.

There are thousands of different versions of you out there, in people's minds. A "you" exists in each version, and yet your "you", "yourself", is not a "someone" at all.

Sort:

Everyone has their own opinion about you, which is not necessarily correct. People have the habit to judge others, and to 'read' them, and according to their understanding, they form opinion about them.

But is your version of yourself correct? Who are you? Parts of you are what you believe you are capable of achieving...sometimes someone will end up saying "they were right about me" or "i guess im just not good enough" these are measurements you made about the you who hasn't "finished" proving themselves yet...to ourselves and others
