Kung Fu Panda

An unlikely Hero.

Another top class animation from Dreamworks, it is in the same league as the first Shrek movie. The other half likes this movie just as much, so we have probably seen it half a dozen times and can quote some scenes. It is that good and can be watched multiple times.



The story is about a Panda with dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master. When it is announced that the new Dragon warrior is being chosen, Po wants to see who that will be so he makes his way to the temple to watch the ceremony.

Po however is locked out of the temple because he was too late to the ceremony, but he has to get in. This he manages to do, and in doing so he is chosen to be the next Dragon Warrior. Only Po has no training in Kung Fu, and is not your typical student.

The grand master of the temple however believes that Po is the correct choice and that he must be trained as he is the only one that can defeat a former student Tai that escaped from prison and is heading back to the temple to exact revenge.

The teacher does find a way to teach Po, and in the end Tai and Po do battle.
