Compilation of Best 18+ Rated Anime Movies - Check it Out!!! 🎅💥

in #movies6 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemian, hope you're having good time? Today, as I was going through YouTube, I made a wonderful discovery of a special anime movie I had watched years back and it brought back some nostalgic feelings.

That movie served as a kick or push for the creation of this post.

On this post, I'll be sharing with you some of the best +18 rated anime movies for your perusal and viewing.

Here's a list of the movies:

1. Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma

Spoiler alert... Oh! the topic?... No spoiler alert then.

This is an anime movie that has a lot of nude scenes and things that rhymes with orgasm (hun hunn!! you heard that right).
Erm, the anime centers mostly about foods and cooking, but the naked stuffs spices things up a bit.

Shokugeki no Soma (or Food Wars) is an anime composed by Yūto Tsukada and designed by Shun Saeki. It was adjusted into an anime on October 2014 by Shueisha and recounts the narrative of Soma Yukihara, a kid who aims for the top spot in Tōtsuki Culinary Academy.
It is worthy to note that only 10% of the students graduate from this world class institution, and the audience follows after Yukihara's adventure as he challenges capable chefs and learns more about the food industry.

The crust or unique selling point of this anime is the foodgasm. Remember when I talked about something rhyming with orgasm? Yeah!

Foodgasm is a blend of the two words, food and orgasm, and it is used to represent or show the characters' reactions after eating a delicious meal, as the eater's face gets hot and their clothes gets stripped from their body leaving them nude and moaning.
This particular scenario can found in a clip from Episode 1 of the movie, after the land shark and her cohorts attempted to eat Yukihara's food.

2. Taboo Tattoo

Taboo Tattoo is a Fighting Series by Shinjirou about a kid by name Justice Akatsuka (aka Seigi) who is given an odd tattoo on his palm by an old man whom he rescues from a thugs.

The following day, Seigi is assaulted and punched by a young lady named Izzy, who wore a winter coat regardless of the hot weather condition. He attempted to fight her back with Jiujitsu that his granddad showed him, however his life was in danger and no match against her gigantic power.

Justice Akatsuka gained the energy of the Tattoo by simple fortuitous event. Never did he understand that he was at that point beginning to participate in a fight that includes many individual's intent and conspiracies.

This anime is greatly brutal and savage with regards to gore.

3. Jormungand

This anime series follows Koko Hekmatyar, a youthful arms dealer who deals and trades weapons under HCLI, a global shipping enterprise that covertly deals in the sale of arms.

As one of the organization's unofficial weapon dealer, she secretly offers weapons to different nations while maintaining a strategic distance from the neighborhood cops and law enforcement agencies as the greater part of her work is really illegal under global law.

Going with her is a team of bodyguards which is composed of ex-military veterans.
Her most recent addition to her team is Jonah, an apparently emotionless child soldier who is gifted in excellent fighting skills yet unexpectedly detests arms dealing.

The anime is loaded with good action, interesting characters, interesting plots and it’s a realistic representation of what happens in real life.

4. Higurashi: When they Cry

Wait a minute!! #exhales

This is some straight horror shit. It's a type of horror story that can repeat the same series of events over and over again and still leave you stucked to your seat until the very end.

As explained by Nick Brooks of hooulu in an article:

Higurashi: When the Cicadas Cry is a 2006 anime adaptation of a visual novel that masks a series of nightmarish stories beneath a foggy layer of mystery that spills over into its aesthetic. Blending together lighthearted elements with some truly intense and disturbing scenes, Higurashi is an in-depth look into the kinds of inexplicable human errors that can only end in tragedy.

Higurashi begins in the summer of 1983, with the arrival of hotheaded teenager Keichi Maebara to the small, peaceful village of Hinamizawa. Life is ordinary for Keichi and his friends, Rena, Satoko, the twins Shion and Mion, and Rika. They hang out after school and play games to entertain themselves in the mundane little town. All seems perfectly fine, until Keichi starts to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances. It isn’t long before things start to go very bad and the blackest secrets of the seemingly quiet town unravel themselves into a maze of dark mystery with a lethal outcome.

Higurashi has this strong feel of being really cringing. It doesn't need you to be comfortable. It needs you sort of lean back, half-frowning, whimpering and scared, and this shows in a wide range of its visual techniques: camera angles, horribly disproportioned character outlines, obtrusively unpleasant and unequivocal murder situations, fisheye-lens, stark shading in particularly inauspicious scenes, cat eyes when characters go extremely nuts, etc.

5. Akame Ga Kill!

This anime just speak of KILL KILL KILL AND KILL!!!

This anime tells the story of a guy with the name Tatsumi who longs for procuring enough cash for his ruined town by working in the Capital — yet his fleeting plans go amiss when he's robbed by a pretty girl upon landing!

Poor, Tatsumi is taken in by another pretty Lady Aria, however exactly when his Capital dreams appear in reach once more, Lady Aria's house is attacked by Night Raid — a group of heartless professional killers who targets high-positioning individuals from the privileged and is the covert assassination branch of the Revolutionary Army.

Akame ga Kill! shows Tatsumi as he battles the Empire and encounters intense weapons, adversary professional killers, difficulties to his own ethics and values, and at last, what it genuinely intends to be a professional killer with a reason.

6. Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is many things at once: an anime, a look at human instinct and nature, a horrifying tale of defeat.

The show recounts the tale of the citizens hidden from the outside world and protected by big walls that shields them from the Titans that live outside of it.

What makes these giants truly terrifying is that their taste for human flesh is not born out of hunger but what appears to be out of pleasure. To ensure their survival, the remnants of humanity began living within defensive barriers, resulting in one hundred years without a single titan encounter.

However, that fragile calm is soon shattered when a colossal titan manages to breach the supposedly impregnable outer wall, reigniting the fight for survival against the man-eating abominations.

After witnessing a horrific personal loss at the hands of the invading creatures, Eren Yeager dedicates his life to their eradication by enlisting into the Survey Corps, an elite military unit that combats the merciless humanoids outside the protection of the walls.

Based on Hajime Isayama's award-winning manga, Shingeki no Kyojin follows Eren, along with his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman and his childhood friend Armin Arlert, as they join the brutal war against the titans and race to discover a way of defeating them before the last walls are breached.

I really liked the video. It's very funny.

Oh! Thank you

This was very interesting! I like how anime can be enjoyed by all age groups- children and adults alike. Anime made watching cartoons cool for everyone.
Although the availability of 18+ anime could perhaps be too easily available to the young with the blurring of the lines. Nevertheless, I have always enjoyed anime since I was a kid!

Thanks for sharing some anime to watch next
