Poetic Film Review: K-19: The Widowmaker (2002)

In the heart of the Cold War's icy grip,
A tale of courage on a Soviet ship.

The fate of the world, rests on their own.

Hollywood's touch, with cliches abound,
Yet Kathryn Bigelow, the suspense she found.
A tribute to heroes, on both sides they stand,
In the depths of the ocean, united they band.

Despite its flaws, the message is clear,
In times of crisis, humanity we hold dear.
K-19: The Widowmaker, a tribute to those,
Who risked it all, in the depths below.

A tale of courage, in a world of strife,
Where even enemies, can share a life.

The essence of humanity, in the depths of the mind.
