I agree, even though I was pretty impressed with it on screen myself. I loved her helmet so much in the movie, but when I went home that day and was reading spoiler stuff and theories on the flick, I noticed how much hate Hela's headgear got. A lot of people unimpressed, so much so that I was like "I must be wrong, it must have sucked and I was fooled!" .. but nah, I still think it was awesomely done.
