This edition of Cool Comic Con Crap takes place waaaaaaaay back in the year of 2016. Deadpool was a tremendous success at the box office and the film had just been released on DVD for home release.

Fox was selling 125 Special Edition SDCC Exclusive Deadpool DVD’s a day...all in a special limited edition packaging for just 20 smackers. Oh and each one was signed by the man himself, Ryan Reynolds. Pretty kickass. Right?!? It gets better!!!

The first 25 people on each of the 4 days got a bonus with their $20 signed limited DVD. They got the “Limited to 100” Deadpool VHS...also signed by the main man.

Thursday was the day to score this particular gem or gems, as it was the first full day of Con and nobody knew about it. A lot of times at SDCC...it’s about being in the right place at the right time. Unfortunately we did not find out about this until Thursday evening so we made it the mission to hit up the Fox booth first thing Friday morning. Well so did about 3000 other like minded folks. Seriously. Without revealing my magical secrets, both my business partner and I were able to secure our place as one of the 25 lucky bastards to snag these deliciously awesome keepsakes. I think I was 12th and my business partner was cutting it close in the early 20’s. Either way...mission accomplished.

Just to drop some knowledge...the DVD brings in around $100-$150 Beans while the VHS commands between $400-$500. These are safely staying with us though.

Oh...take a closer look at the VHS.
