Helloooooooo beautiful people all over the world. ๐๐ I'm so excited to have you on my blog again this evening for the 8th movie show. Wow... I'm sure you enjoyed last week's show. Thanks so much for making it a date with me again. I say a big WELCOME.
Now, before we start our movie, I have Gina and Kate at the bar as usual and these pretty ladies are waiting for you to make your orders. Please go get your popcorns, ice-cream, drinks and all before coming into the movie hall.

Our movie for today is a very interesting and really educative one, titled "ACRIMONY".
Lets put our minds together and be ready to learn amazing lessons from this amazing movie and guess what?

Acrimony is a story centered on a couple. Robert Gail and the lady. They met in high school, got closer and got dating. Robert was a really poor guy but the lady was from a really rich home.
It happened that her mum dies while they were still in school and this was really heart breaking and depressing for the lady. Meanwhile the mother built her own house and that was where the lady was living.
Robert came around for the burial and really consoled the lady. She was really depressed and she followed him to where he stays, it was a truck actually. He was that poor.
She went in to the truck with him and they ended up having sex.
They still kept dating and the relationship was going on smooth. That reminds me, Robert was on scholarship and the lady was taking care of his other needs.
Robert had a beautiful dream and talent. He was trying to discover how batteries can charge batteries and he had the conviction that if people buy this idea and pay for it, he's gonna be very rich. He kept on making sweet promises for this lady about how rich he's going to be, that he's going to buy her a beautiful house and a yatch and write Mrs Gail on it. She held on to what this guy always tell her and kept sponsoring him.
Later they got married and were doing fine, but the lady was the one paying the bills. Robert was busy pursuing his dream and kept sending proposal letters to different companies.
Pardon me, back then in school, Robert cheated on her and the lady caught them red handed.
She had terrible anger issues and so scattered the house of that man, destroyed his truck and even the car she bought for him. She even drove into the place and destroyed it and destroyed her own car too. Robert had to hold her before she could stop.
Now, she had injured herself and was rushed to the hospital. She lost a lot of blood and there were some complications that made the doctors remove her womb. So sad.
Now it's been 19 years in marriage and this dream hasn't been achieved. She got tired of running the home financially and asked the guy to get a job to assist her spendings. But he felt that was going to distract his dreams and then he turned down the job offers he got.
Luckily for him, he met the lady he cheated with back then in school at one of the big companies he had been sending applications.

To me, Acrimony was kinda paradoxical. It started on a build up that got us disliking the guy. Ladies, let us put ourselves in the lady's shoes...how used would you feel if you had to foot the bills for the man for endless years? Especially when the man himself is lazy and wouldn't try to do anything else or get any temp job? Yes he believed in his dreams and his invention was brilliant but the man was supposed to make an effort to protect and provide for his wife! He let her work 3 jobs and kept finishing everything she earned, blowing up the electricity by working at home and accumulating a lot of bills!
Yes she had an anger problem which was terrible and detrimental to her health but think about it...the guy was actually collecting all of her money yet cheating on her with another woman!! She had siblings and family members that didn't understand the guy's attitude as well and so they egged her on to break up. She breaks up with him and then he hits it big making millions with the help of the same lady he cheated with in the past???! Come on! Of all women, it had to be the one he had been caught with in the past?! Really?
To say na me too, I go vex big time. But instead of going bonkers, I would simply take the 10 million he gave me and invest 7.5 million then spend the remaining 2.5 million on myself and my sisters making us all happy and starting a new life with a new outlook....imagine the kind of amazing guys she could have met and started a new love story with! I hated the end of the movie, they made her become a raving lunatic and that was not fair. She had endured hell for the guy! She was angry and jealous but he caused it with his previous cheating and intensely lazy/laidback nature. He cared nothing for anything apart from his invention.

The movies is just one kain one kain, for someone else to be living ones dream after all the suffering for so many years.
Well, what they were trying to pass across is that Patience is a virtue. Yes ofcourse she endured but not till the end.
The man too was at fault in his own way by not taking his responsibilities.
The movie is in different waves sha. Anyone would have been that angry and even more.
She also got pushed by her family members. Many many things to that movie. Its just so tragic.
